It doesn't look like a sunset initially. At first I thought it was a picture of fire with the outline of a dragon in the bottom left in orange haha. The text could be a bit more legible though. The malaysia text looks a bit blurred in areas.

I applied for extension of stay to California Sercice Center. But if I move to Texas, will be my case transfered to VSC??

if it is an extension of B2 status, I don't think your case will be transferred to a different center if you move to a different state. you just have to inform the service center regarding change of address(I think you can send a AR-11 form) this is just my personal opinion. please check with the lawyer who filed your extension or other experts

I have neither received a receipt nor checks have been encashed. My attorney has not received any july 2nd filed cases receipts. Its a pretty big law firm.

The worrying news below talk about findings that the U.S. has lost influence abroad as a result of the Iraq war, thus encouraging detractors such as Russia and Iran...so, this begs the question: Is this really the time for the country to also encourage loss of influence at home, by promoting a massive and catastrophic Reverse Brain Drain? I am on 8th H1b extension with approved I140 and 3yr extension. Now I want to join a new company, who does my H1B and will get 3yr extension on that. If my parent employer revokes my I140, will my new H1B (with new employer) gets void ? or is it still valid for me to work with new employer for next 3 years. I dont want to apply for LC and I140 with the new employer as I will be R2I in August 2007.

I can't help but notice that about 1/4 of recently processed audit cases were denied. As it goes now, I'll have to wait about another 6 month for a 75% chance to pass. Well for where the economy is headed right now it all probably won't matter anymore in 6 months.

Refugees from Sudan have a tough time with USCIS, let alone people from other nations. Refugees from Sudan have a tough time. Period. It is sad, and we should do what we can to help those less fortunate than us. Again, period. No ifs and buts about it. But is this the right forum, or even the right website?
There is plenty of clutter on these forums.. (And frustratingly, it has spiked a lot in the last week or so). Please do not add to it.

I am kind of confused about my situation. Will try to detail it; any help is greatly appreciated!
I was working with company A until July 2009. They had filed my F1 to H1 COS Application in April 2009, which got approved. I have the receipt for that. I lost my job in July 2009 and found another one. My new employer, Company B, filed a NEW COS Application (which they said is subject to the H-1B cap, which is confusing cuz they could have used the receipt number from my previous approval I think)
Anyway, I contacted the attorney from Company B and they said I should call company A and have them cancel my H-1 COS Application. I called the attorney from Company A and she said she would cancel the H-1 Application. She also mentioned about ME having to send a letter to USCIS. Why do I have to send this letter? Is it so that I can go back to my F1 status? What should it say?? Please help!
