I never give any red or green dot to anybody nor do I care what I have. As, you said what you felt was right, other users did the same to you...
I got red dots, just because I raised my concerns against factual errors in the letter. I have never mentioned that I am against sending letters. Just that emotional outburst is not going to help EB-3 India applicants.

Preparing for future is one thing but if you think that this is a valuable thread then go with it and enjoy, i just find it disheartening that people are trying to undermine whatever has been achieved by such threads (Like i said, he might be completely right but is there a need to tell it this way) and what are you going to prepare for the future ;) Do you know it ? (If you do, please keep it to yourself and enjoy or cry about it). Right now, i want to be positive and enjoy the fruits of what IV has done to get some relief, why use negative logic to undermine it and that is what i am saying. I have case id for ETA form. I could see my details by downloading MDB file from flcdatacenter. How can I know whether I am EB2 or EB3? I do not want to ask my employer.

IV can you please shed the light on this. EAD is a step closer Greencard. One will eventually get one. Even when some one is waiting on EAD he/she almost have all the benefits of GC except to renew each time

I applied concurrently on July 2.
I applied LC in Oct 2000, it went out of the lawyer's office- i got the approval of LC on June 22 2007 from BEC.
What I am seeing now, is my case got transferred from Nebraska to CA and now transfeered back to Lincoln, what beats me is :
I filed on July 2 (as per my lawyer) and ours is one of the well known Bay area company in the planet. I saw that Reciept date is marked as 30 Aug, and ND as Sep 10. This is from a Transfer notice I got, I did not get any reciept date yet so far. I know at least 100 odd EB2 cases and plenty of eb 3 from 2001 time frame getting lc approvals. I know this for a fact as we share our data across amongst us... waiting in silence for ever !....
The sad part is that some applicants who missed the boat called BEC with PD of around June 2004 on EB3/India got approved in June end/July time frame. I did see this on some forums external to IV.
I think there may be candidates from 2001/2002/2003 who may have applied in June/July 07. But if the rumors of NSC processing RD wise (as seen on some forum posts outside IV), then it is unfair to these people, because there may be others who missed the BEC boat and are ahead of these folks coming out of BEC.

May be yes....applying greencard is required to extend the H1...having said that one has to spend huge money in applying for GC...at the same time one can also stay out of US for an year and come back if required...

I agree having 1 crore is sort of middle class..especially with the real estate boom in Hyderabad..you won't get a two bedroom flat in a decent area unless you pay around 20 lakhs...
on a lighter note...1 crore is just simple....for the people over there...for example my father retired in early 2004 and spent his retirement money to buy a two bedroom apartment and a small piece of land (about 10 lakhs in total)...now the apartment itself costs about 11 lakhs and land costs about another 14 lakhs.........earning/saving of about 15 lakhs in 3 years....how many of us could do that ;)
when i came to US at first i thought i would go back to india if i have 1 crore, but when time goes by, i came to know that now a days in india people who have 1 Crore are considered as Middle Class,

Do you worry about your GC/EAD or saving your money. From your posts it look like you are more interested in getting your money back than the eligibility to file for EAD.

I'm sure IV does not agree with you and that's not the IV goal. Focus is on to make USCIS accept what they promise and that is accepting the applications files on July for AOS.
What you are trying to do is twist your own agenda of getting your money back by making it as an IV goal. As far as attorney's fees are concerned, lot of attorney's are going to refile without any charge or for some additional meagre fees.

the $20/mnth was pulled a while back- hardly anyone was signing up for monthly contributions and everyone went for the lwoest amount. all in all a shameful situation. my humble suggestion- in a lumpsome, donate the amount equivelant to 20/mnth for the next 4 mnths ie $80, then when the EAD comes you can start recurring contributions.

This is by far the most effective story that highlights the security concerns raised by approving cases that hasn't cleared the background check yet. This could be the big story. It may, however, be the double-edged sword. I think we need to keep this going as much as we can.
